Showroom Manager

We are currently looking for a new Showroom Manager to join our team in Burlington.  The successful applicant will be enthusiastic, results driven and have a passion for lighting and home Decor.  Our Showroom Manager must have a desire to learn and build a career in the lighting industry.

Requirements/Duties:

 

  • Opening and Closing Duties
  • Assist Sales people in the processing of orders
  • Showroom maintenance
  • Some general operational duties
  • Meet/exceed sales targets set out by senior management
  • Build relationships with interior designers and other clients through phone calls and marketing programs
  • Greet and engage customers, recommend merchandise
  • Answer customer queries regarding the store and the merchandise
  • Process sales and orders quickly and accurately
  • Provide post-sale customer service to all clientele
  • Identify new opportunities and follow up with current clients to encourage repeat business
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks/ priorities
  • Computer skills (email, spreadsheets, digital photos)

In-depth knowledge of lighting is not required, however ability and enthusiasm to learn is. Candidate will be required to work some weekend hours and be available for occasional training sessions outside of regular hours.

 Lighting Consultant

Sescolite Lighting is looking for an out-going Sales Professional with an enthusiastic personality who enjoys dealing with the public and has potential for a long term career in the decorative lighting industry. The successful candidate will possess an enthusiasm for interior design and the ability to be proactive in selling. This dynamic environment will require a high energy level and the ability to multitask and assess priorities. The role will require good communication skills and a customer service orientation.

Prior experience in a commission based sales role within the home décor industry is mandatory. In-depth knowledge of lighting is not required, however ability and enthusiasm to learn is.
